As a country, our hearts are weeping as we process yet another senseless act of violence. Beautiful lives were lost. Joe Walker, a father of two; Bob Violette, a bowling coach; Maxx Hathaway, a stay-at-home dad. The Victims I'm thinking of every single one of these warm and loving faces who did not deserve a fate so quick and violent. They deserved to hug their children one last time. I am sending love and tremendous strength to their loved ones as the days, weeks, and months pass.
So fresh, this is when many of us, myself included, are tempted to go into fix-it mode and try to solve the issues that allowed a man to turn into a monster. However, is this the time for debate and judgement? Perhaps instead we could together pause for a few weeks by sending only love and warmth to the victims and their families.
