Golden Paste Recipe

When my dog was ill, I made him golden paste, which helped him live to 17 with
Cushing's disease and a suspected brain tumor. Golden paste is just as useful for humans. Its turmeric base has so many health benefits that it would be difficult to list them all here. Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer, and Healthline says, "The spice known as turmeric may be the most effective nutritional supplement in existence."

Golden Paste Recipe

1/2 cup turmeric powder
1 cup water
1/3 coconut oil (or choice)
2-3 teaspoons freshly cracked pepper

1. Bring turmeric and water to a boil in a saucepan, then lower the heat and simmer until you have a thick paste, about 7-10 minutes.
2. Add freshly cracked ground pepper and oil after removing from heat and cooling. Stir well.

Your paste will keep 2-3 weeks in the fridge. Freeze portions you believe you won't finish in time.

Dosage: Start slow! Take 1/4 teaspoon, or less twice a day (with food), and build up to 3-4 times a day. After the second week, increase the dose to between 1/2 and 1 teaspoon.

Black pepper is added because it contains a substance that increases the bioavailability of the compounds in turmeric by 2000%. The fat in the oil also increases the absorption of turmeric. This recipe is a synergistic masterpiece!
